Elder brother to the immediate past governor of Benue state,Dr Terkula Suswam has denied having knowledge on Joseph Anawah's Facebook post purportedly denying the Ukum people of Ipusu parentage.
Reacting to insinuations that he had sponsored the said postulation,Chief Terkula Suswam wondered how he could sponsor some one to castigate his mother's kings men who have helped him achieve whatever he has had in life,describing Anawah's position as mischievous. "Anawah has been mischievous through his career as a journalist...how can I sponsor Anawah against my 'igba'...you know he is not well read,and may not know the implication of what he has said,it is completely a distortion of History" . Dr Suswam regretted. The Tor Sankera- elect called on the Tiv people to disregard the erroneous conception as according to him,it was meant to cause misunderstanding between the Shitile and Ukum people who are the first and second sons of Ipusu respectively while Tongov,and Kpar are the 3rd and 4th sons of Ipusu.
Also reacting on the allegations that he had already expressed interest in the contest for the Tor Tiv stool,Dr Suswam said he was contented with the position he was presently occupying as the Tor Sankera and was not interested in the contest for the Tor Tiv stool.
