Hundreds of mourners have paid tribute to a baby boy with no name and no clues to his identity.
The abandoned child – simply known as ‘Little Baby Boy’ – was found dead on a footpath and wrapped in blankets by a dog walker almost two years ago in the Seafield area of Edinburgh.
After police failed to find his family, community leaders sent out an appeal for strangers to attend the little boy’s funeral to make sure he was not buried alone.
The response was overwhelming and today more than 250 people turned out at Seafield Crematorium to pay their respects to the child, thought to have been around six-weeks-old.

Baby born with organs on the outside

Nell had to undergo an operation to mend her heart (Picture: North News)
A baby girl needed an emergency life-saving operation after she was born with her stomach, bowel and liver outside her body in a bag of skin.
Nell Marshall, who was the only survivor of triplets, was born with exomphalos, a condition that means her abdomen did not fully develop in the womb.
This means that her stomach, bowel and liver were born outside her body and she now faces a major operation to put them back inside her.

But Nell also needed emergency surgery after it was discovered that she had a hole between the vessels coming out of her heart.
She was taken from Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary to Freeman Hospital where she underwent a five-and-a-half hour operation.
The surgery to put her organs back inside her will take place in six weeks time when she has had some time to grow and develop.
‘Even though she has been through so much, she’s never given up,’ her mother, 35-year-old Joanne Marshall, told the Chronicle.

Respect Breasts The Fountain Of Beauty, Life And Sex

Written by Baliloola N Ivan

Breasts are fountains of beauty on female bodies. Breasts are a center of focus and attraction on all women by men. Beauty is a woman takes into account breasts in his case size and cleavage potential. To men breasts are considered a source of pleasure and comfort in foreplay.
lovely breasts
As fashion designers embrace cleavage as an element of beauty, today we are seeing more appreciation of breasts. Breasts are more pronounced in females than males though the opposite can also be true.
Today breasts have become a fantasy in the media. This has caused esteem issues as big breasts seem to be centre of focus. Some still have to undergo surgery to boost appearance for breast  size and shape.
People credit breasts for contribution to their upbringing through breast milk. Breasts denote transformation from childhood to adulthood earning a girl status, respect and responsibility in society as a full woman.
Some people think its obscenity to talk about breasts but its part of nature. In some communities breasts are private parts while in some areas they are not private. In Africa, women breastfeed freely in public and generally women are not afraid to remove their clothes when it’s hot day.
The size of breasts is another extra mile issue before us; naturally breasts can become big due to adolescence, pregnancy, surgery and breast feeding. Breasts are naturally small or fallen-flatten after menopause or early stages in childhood respectively.

Clothes also influence the appearance of breasts. The overall   determinant factor to the sizes is the hormonal .small breasts bearers are considered young and less attractive. Women with small and big breasts often have low self esteem.
Breasts have also helped shape fashion trends of recent. Clothes are now made in respect of the bust and size of breasts. Those not comfortable with their breasts should consider wearing bras to enhance their appearance. Bras can be “push up”, ‘tube bras ‘and so forth.
The treasure is now faced with the deadly killer breast cancer. Breast cancer claims millions of women worldwide regardless age or status in society. October month has been set aside to create awareness and fight the disease.

HIV Positive People To Be Marked Near Their Genitals

President Zuma signed a bill that seems to be one of the greatest steps in the history of trying to combat HIV.

From now on, every person who gets tested and is found to be HIV positive will not just get counselling and medication. They will also get a mark in form of a tattoo near their genitals according to the bill signed by the president.

“The mark is to protect those who can’t say no to sex. I mean if you can’t read between the lines you should read between the legs because that’s where the status would be tatted. The choice to be HIV positive is now in your hands or your genitals for that matter….We also encourage those who had been living with the virus to go to the nearest public hospitals to get their status tatted in,” Said Jacob Zuma after signing the bill and taking his ARV’s.

President Zuma volunteered to be the first South African citizen to get his status tatted near his genitals and he also announced that the first 10 million people(who already tested positive) to volunteer to have their HIV statuses tatted on their genitals would be given a R50 000 funeral expense voucher.

Genevieve Nnaji Opens Up On Why She’s Single: “I’m Looking For A Man, Not A Boy”

genevieve
Actress Genevieve Nnaji is looking for a man who isn’t fazed by her success.
The legendary Nollywood actress revealed this in a recent interview, touching on a number of her issues such as her daughter and her fashion line.
Excerpts from the interview below.
Mamy of your fellow dark-skin female fans are sure glad of your successful career as someone who isn’t light-skin, coming from a country that is thought to have the world’s highest percentage of women using skin-lightening agents. What’s your take on this?
People need to definitely erase the mindset that any other colour is better than your colour. I think it’s a complex. I am dark-skinned, I know who I am inside, forget the skin. I think darker-skinned women should really focus on the inner beauty and not allow somebody else’s complex or insecurities to overshadow their confidence.
Why are you still single?
If I get married, I really want to stay married and staying married is not an easy thing. It means you are completely in tune with your partner. It means you have found your soulmate because you will have to be able to stand a lot of disappointments that would definitely come but then again you have to learn to forgive.
Ok, so what are you looking for in a man? Your ideal guy, what are you looking for in a man?
I am that person that eats with her eyes, like I need to be attracted to you. Definitely. There has to be physical attraction that will draw me to you but at the end of the day, it’s your mind I’m going to fall in love with. I’m probably looking for a friend, someone who shares a like mind and somebody who is confident. Aww, I love tall guys. I’m short you have to think of the kids.
Don’t you think a lot of guys are scared of you now? They will say she is good looking, successful, she’s got her own career, let me leave her alone, I can’t handle that kind of wife I can’t tell her what to do.
Then he is a baby, a boy. I’m not looking for a boy. Men don’t let artificial things like that intimidate them.
Will your 19-year-old daughter Chimebuka, who is the same age as you when you found fame, toll your lane or adventure into other forms of entertainment?
No. I think we have enough entertainers in our family quite frankly. (Laughs)

Jonathan's Loss: Ubah Breaks Down Before PDP Chieftains

Ifeanyi Ubah, the chief executive officer of Capital Oil and national coordinator of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN), broke down in tears on April 30, Thursday, over President Goodluck Jonathan’s loss in the March 28 presidential election.

According to a report on The Cable, Ubah had gone to the new banquet hall of the presidential villa to submit the report of the Peoples Democratic Party presidential campaign organisation to Jonathan.

Ubah was said to have wept profusely after Jonathan’s address, which drew thunderous applause and a standing ovation.
His tears flowed without restriction when chieftains of the PDP started speaking on the party’s loss.

Party members took turns to console him but he had to excuse himself from the hall when all attention was focused on him.

TAN worked for the failed re-election bid of President Jonathan. The TAN group claimed to have collected 12 million signatures asking Jonathan to run in the election, after travelling to all the states of the federation.
Ubah’s oil marketing company, Capital Oil, was one of the firms taken over by the Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) over its N60 billion indebtedness. Capital Oil was later returned to him shortly before Jonathan declared his intention to run for a second term in November 2014 after AMCON had offset most of the debts.
In a recent interview, Ubah who  contested in the gubernatorial elections in his home-state of Anambra last year for the Labour Party, bared his mind on the outcome of the 2015 general elections, the impact of TAN activities, among other national issues.

Victim Carl Beatson-Asiedu (Picture: PA)
Mr Beatson-Asiedu, 19, was a university student and DJ who was well known in the club scene as DJ Charmz.
He had been playing a gig at Club Life near Vauxhall Station but was fatally attacked as he left the venue in the early hours of Saturday August 1 2009.
Mr Beatson-Asiedu and his friends were walking to their car when they were approached by a group of men.
An argument broke out and the TV star became separated from his pals and was stabbed by Okafor.
He collapsed on the street where his friends found him, bundled him into their car and set off towards the hospital.
Police officers saw them and tried to revive the CBBC star in the seat, but he died from a single stab wound.
Detective Inspector Alison Hepworth said: ‘Jeffrey Okafor fled the UK to Nigeria illegally under a false identity in the hope of evading capture.
‘He lived a relatively comfortable life and even had the opportunity to study at university.
‘There is no doubt that he was supported by others both in the UK and in Nigeria.
‘In the five years he was on the run he was living a life that Carl should have been living but he was never afforded the opportunity to finish university.
‘Carl’s death has had a profound effect on his family and they have waited a very long time to see justice served.’
Paying tribute to the victim’s family, he added: ‘I can only commend them for their steadfastness and patience and I hope that seeing their son’s killer finally behind bars brings some form of comfort to them.’
Okafor will be sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court.
